Thank you Thomas -my lovely and very kind tattoo artist. He assisted me with all my requirements and got me the design I wanted and made the process so smooth and friendly. The staff and the whole vibe of the place was very creative and positive I must recommend Thomas and this tattoo place to make all ur dream tattoos come true! Very clean, professional and the staff knows what they are doing fully knowledge able.

I absolutely love the tattoo I just received from Thomas. He was great to work with, super collaborative, and took my ideas to create the most beautiful custom piece. He also gave great advice on post-tattoo care and was very professional throughout the whole process. I will be back to post pictures once it is fully healed!! The shop was super clean with amazing vibes. You can tell they really prioritize cleanliness and professionalism while still keeping it fun. The cost was 100% worth the work and close attention to detail. I will be back for many more tattoos!! Highly recommend!

Where to begin? I frequently visit Greenwich and Came across sovereign gallery Three years ago. At the time I got a small tattoo written on my wrist. When I returned and I was ready for a bigger piece I wanted wings on my back. Everyone else i had worked with was very specific and wanted to do it exactly their way. I tend to draw my tattoos in advance. I realize everybody is an artist they want to put their stamp on it, but sometimes I feel like it’s my body. However.. I wasn’t firm on my design of the wings, but I wanted them to be more modern. Thomas was amazing. He was so collaborative and totally guided me in terms of what I could and couldn’t do but was totally willing to take anything I wanted Into consideration. Two years later, I returned to work with Pablo a couple of weeks ago who did a lightning bolt on my arm and a rendition of my bunny. I love them both. Two days ago I did a big tattoo with Thomas. It was probably the most challenging. I had decided I wanted a snow leopard I was having a lot of confusion with the pose and placement And nothing felt right. Thomas was super patient with me and made recommendations as to what I could do I always envision them being able to be a little bit smaller, but that’s not the case lol nevertheless Thomas placed it perfectly on my back. He is collaborative,, personable, and so so talented and creative. They all are! When you walk into sovereign, and this time it was busy - Full house - they make you feel at home and they introduce you to everybody that’s there. That’s why I continue to come back. I just like this place. I like the people and the work is outstanding. Anything that I was unsure about it ends up being just right when I’m finished. Thank you so much Thomas for being so patient with me And thank you, everybody Manny and everyone is sovereign making Time their spent like it seem like a day hanging out with friends!!! My Ghost Cat looks SICK And has already gotten rave reviews!! ☮️🪁 ⚡️

Exceptional Artistry, Impeccable Service, and the Best Vibe in Town Sovereign Gallery & Tattoo Studio truly sets the gold standard. From the moment you walk in, the entire team welcomes you like a long-time friend, instantly establishing an incredibly warm and professional atmosphere. This is a studio dedicated exclusively to custom artistry—you won't find generic designs or pick-from-a-catalog posters on the walls. I had the pleasure of working with Marcos, who was beyond brilliant. His communication was next-level, providing an extremely fast turnaround time on the design, and the final cost was beyond fair considering the exceptional quality of the art. As someone with several older tattoos who usually struggles with the process, I was honestly stunned. Marcos's technique was so gentle that there were times I wasn't sure he was still working on my arm because I barely felt a thing. While it is still a tattoo, this was by far the least uncomfortable experience I have ever had. The Sovereign Community The entire staff deserves special recognition. Every artist treats you like their own client and is supportive and enthusiastic about each other's work. The studio is immaculately clean and operates with remarkable professionalism, but the real magic is the vibe. It feels less like a tattoo shop and more like a creative, welcoming collective. Everyone who walks in—including the other customers—feels like an old classmate you are seeing for the first time since high school. It’s truly amazing. The positive energy extends beyond the door; even the manager from the well-known coffee franchise across the street stopped by on his day off to get work done! Special thanks to Thomas, Denver, Pablo, Michaela, and Taylor for making the experience so unique. They are clearly a positive force in the local community. If you want a forever piece of custom art, I wholeheartedly recommend Marcos or any of the outstanding artists here. The only downside? I hope they never realize they could charge double or triple and move to NYC or Miami. Please don't!

Today was my first time visiting Sovereign Gallery & Tattoo Studio, and it won’t be my last. The shop is spotless, welcoming, and has a unique vibe since it doubles as an art gallery — so whether you’re looking for new ink, new decor, or both, this is the spot. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel right at home. Manny, Thomas, Valentina, and especially Marcos were all incredibly friendly and down-to-earth. The atmosphere was great — good vibes all around, chatting with the crew and even other customers. It genuinely felt like hanging out with a group of friends rather than sitting in a tattoo shop. This was my 3rd session with Marcos, but my first at this location, and he continues to impress me every time. He’s an amazing artist with a light hand, and he constantly checks in to make sure you’re comfortable. What I appreciate most is how collaborative he is — he really listens, understands exactly what I’m looking for, and has the talent to turn my thoughts and words into a clean, detailed, meaningful image. I absolutely recommend Sovereign Gallery & Tattoo Studio to both first-timers and experienced collectors. Can’t wait for my next session. See you soon!
